NetApp Cloud Manager isn’t just for managing clouds

Okay I know that’s a bit of an oxymoron, maybe it’s time for a name change?

Over the last 6 – 12 months we’ve been adding more and more capabilities into Cloud Manager for companies that would like to use it to manage their on-premises NetApp systems, yes that’s right, to manage your on-premises systems, so why would you want to do that?

You can see all of this in my short demo video, but in summary…

  1. You can bring all of your NetApp systems onto the Cloud Manager canvas, great for performing day to day tasks such as volume management etc
  2. System Manager is now available and can be launched for any system on the canvas inside Cloud Manager
  3. It’s easy to setup replication relationships across systems through a simple drag and drop
  4. And what’s more we’ve integrated our customers favourite AIOps capability, ActiveIQ

And if in the future you want to start developing your Hybrid Cloud environment you can easily setup connectors into AWS, Azure or GCP and then Tier, Backup or Replicate data into and across any cloud, consistently.

We don’t charge for Cloud Manager so why not give it a try

Here’s a quick demo from me so you can see how easy this all is

  1. This is great! About a year ago I created a video course on cloud manager which highlighted the fact that it is a UI that enabled a single pane of glass view of a customer’s hybrid cloud environment. Glad to see many more cloud services integrated into cloud manager!!
