Data Fabric Part 3 – Delivering the Benefits

In the first two of these blogs I focused on Why and How our Data Fabric is an important and elegant strategy for businesses. In this one I want to focus more on ‘What’ the technologies are that underpin it.

After 15 years working for NetApp I decided I wanted to write a book on my experiences during this time, it's a bit of a 'history of NetApp' and the changing industry. I hope you enjoy it!

About Matt Watts – Chief Evangelist

I’m an ambivert and an engineer, it’s taken a lot of different experiences in order for me to realise that this is the most appropriate description for who I am though.

I’ve always had a lot to say, I think being an engineer means I’m constantly looking for solutions to problems or analysing things to see how they could be done better, or sometimes just wondering why someone made a particular decision on how to build something.

Then I want to chat about it.

I work closely with the Office of the CTO, Product Operations and Marketing teams at NetApp, but I spend most of my time at events or with businesses articulating NetApp’s Strategy and the business value of IT.
